Azure: It's Time

Never make fun of someone if they mispronounce a word. It means they learned it by reading.

Who can't relate to getting call out on the mispronunciation of a word? It cuts deep. Time slows down as you focus on a single thought: you sounded like a fool - in front of everyone. We can all find some comfort from the quote above. I know I have wrapped myself in its reassuring warmth on more than a few occasions.

Though for some reason Azure has been different. For years we've enjoyed each other's butchering of the pronunciation. The countless variations delivered with a distinct lack of confidence. Ah-zer? Az…oar?

Well folks, It's time. The tides have turned and mispronunciation carries some serious downside, especially when interacting with clients. We've had our fun, but now it's time to start pronouncing Azure correctly.

So, for those who are still unsure, Azure is pronounced like pressure. 

Az-ure … press-ure.
